This post usually comes the morning of the start of the NCAA Basketball Tournament. That didn’t happen this morning, but this is still a very special day. That’s because largely; we’ve basically made it to baseball season.
The best part about March Madness is it serves as a perfect bridge into baseball season. The first two rounds take us nicely right up until MLB Opening Day, and this weekend figures to be a great sports weekend with the Australian series, and basketball games wall-to-wall. You really couldn’t ask for more.
So even though we’ve had the most layman’s beginning to our bracket in 2014 – 9 out of 12 games is nothing to write home about – there’s something comforting about having these games on in the background no matter what you’re doing. Especially since we’re all waiting on the main course to roll around.
